Welcome to Josie’s illustrated world…
Hello, I’m Josie Shenoy and I create intricate illustrations, which you can buy here as collectable fine art prints and illustrated treasures for your home!
After ten exciting years in London working as a freelance illustrator for prestigious clients, I now work from my studio in the Hertfordshire countryside. I’m proud to work with expert giclée print makers, to produce immaculate reproductions of my original illustrations ~ my art prints are intended to be loved for a lifetime.
My illustrations are inspired by my love of architecture and the natural world, places that are dear to me and my own British-Indian heritage, which I hope shines through in my use of intricate pattern and detail.
It has always been of great importance to me to be mindful of the impact of my business on the planet, and I take great care to ensure that all my products are responsibly made using environmentally friendly materials and practices.
I very much hope you will love my artworks as much as I enjoy creating them!

UK-based illustrator Josie Shenoy creates intricate, magical illustrations drawing on themes of nature, pattern, architecture and a love of storytelling.
Josie’s hand-drawn artwork is beautifully detailed, with a touch of romance, sophisticated use of colour, and always a kaleidoscopic pop of pattern.
Having worked as an illustrator since 2013, Josie has collaborated with iconic brands such as Anthropologie, Bloomsbury Children’s Books, British Museum, National Gallery, Liberty, Fortnum & Mason and the Royal Gardens at Highgrove where she was invited to meet King Charles III.
Over the years, she has illustrated all sorts, from children’s books, patterned wallpaper and souvenir ranges to puzzles, textiles, ceramics and greeting cards, amongst many other things!
Josie is inspired by her British-Indian heritage, interesting architecture, vintage maps, her very silly cat, old children’s books and the Arts & Crafts movement ~ did you know that her great-grandmother designed wallpaper for William Morris?
After 10 years in London, Josie now works from her cosy studio in the Hertfordshire countryside, with her faithful assistant, Larry the cat, often snoozing nearby.
